FactFusion AI (factfusionai.com) is a free reference site that publishes short facts, each linked to the source it was checked against. It is owned and run by Ali Ahmad Chaudhry, an individual based in Pakistan. These terms cover the website, the embeddable fact widget and the public API. By using any of them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What we promise and what we do not
Every published fact is checked by a person against a named source before it goes live, and each fact page shows that source, the date it was last verified and a confidence score. How we verify facts describes the process.
Checking is not the same as a guarantee. Sources can be wrong, knowledge changes, and we make mistakes. The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, and a fact may be corrected or removed at any time. Nothing here is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Do not rely on a fact from this site for a decision that matters without reading the source yourself.
Corrections
If you think a fact is wrong, outdated or badly sourced, use the report form on that fact’s page. Tell us what is wrong and, if you can, point to a better source. By sending a report you allow us to use what you send to correct the site, without payment or credit. Please do not submit reports you know to be false. Your email address, if you give one, is used only to follow up on the report, as explained in our privacy policy.
Using our facts
Facts themselves belong to no one. The way we word them, our explanations and the design of the site are ours. You may quote individual facts and short excerpts for personal, educational or editorial purposes, provided you link back to the fact page or to factfusionai.com.
You may not copy the collection in bulk to build a competing fact database, or present our wording as your own. The sources we link to belong to their publishers and stay under their own terms and licences. We are not responsible for what is on those external sites.
The embed widget
You may place our fact widget on your own website free of charge, including on commercial sites. In return:
- Use the embed code as provided and keep the link back to FactFusion AI visible and unchanged.
- Do not alter the fact text or its source inside the widget.
- Do not suggest that we endorse your site, product or views.
- Do not place the widget on pages that are unlawful, hateful or deceptive.
We may change the widget, or stop serving it to a site that breaks these rules.
The public API
The API is free and needs no key. It is rate limited so that it stays available to everyone. If you show our facts to other people through the API, credit FactFusion AI with a link and keep each fact’s source attached to it. Do not try to get around the rate limits, and do not use the API to copy the whole collection. We do not promise that the API will always be available or that it will never change, so do not build anything critical on it.
Use of AI
FactFusion AI uses AI assistance for content organization, explanation drafting, and classification. All facts are verified by human editors before publishing. A fact whose explanation was drafted with AI assistance says so on its page. AI is never the source of a fact.
Acceptable use
Do not attack, overload or probe the site, bypass its rate limits or bot checks, or use it to break the law. We may block access that does any of these.
Copyright complaints (DMCA)
We write our own fact wording and link to sources rather than copying them. If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice through our contact page with:
- The work you say has been copied, or a link to it.
- The address of the page on our site where the material appears.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature. Typing your full name counts.
We will review a complete notice and remove or correct the material where the complaint is valid. If your own material was removed because of a notice and you believe that was a mistake, write to us the same way explaining why and we will review it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the site, the widget or the API, or from relying on a fact published here. Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law says cannot be removed.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the site changes. The effective date at the bottom of this page shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
